Understanding Prescription Drug Possession Laws
Over the past decades, prescription drug abuse has become an increasingly high-profile topic, and with that trend has come an increase in criminal charges for prescription drug possession in Virginia and nationwide. Some of the most popular drugs involved in these cases are:
- OxyContin (oxycodone) and other pain relievers
- Valium (diazepam), Rohypnol (flunitrazepam) and other sedatives
- Adderall and other psychostimulants
